![]() It seems like only yesterday we were planning the 2014 Romance Writers of New Zealand Conference. The committee were all excited when Marie Force, Courtney Milan, James Scott Bell, Kevan Lyon and Jim Azevedo said they could join us and share their tips and expertise to make us better writers. And now I can't wait! The best thing about our conference its that it's not just for romance writers. Anyone that wants to be a successful author needs to be in Auckland in August. There's something for everyone, whether you write suspense, historical, adventure or crime novels, the process and skills are the same, just fine-tuned for what you need in your writing. This year we have an amazing stream of workshops for anyone who is self-publishing their books or wants to know how. A huge thank you to Harlequin who are our main sponsors and an amazing company to work with! Go to www.romancewriters.co.nz to buy your tickets for the 2014 Romance Writers of New Zealand Conference in Auckland from 14-17 August 2014. I'll see you there! ![]() Forever Wishes is a special book to me. Even though it appears as the fourth book in the Montana Brides series, it was the first book I wrote. I named the heroine, Erin, after my sister. She read an early edition of the first few chapters and really enjoyed it. We laughed about the Superman scene and brainstormed about our happy ending. As Erin and Jake's story progressed through more than one redraft some of the scenes changed and different people popped in and out of their lives. But at the center of everything was love, friendship, and laughter. My sister did not get to see the final version of Forever Wishes, but I know that she would have been proud to see Erin and Jake's story come to life for everyone to enjoy. Her happy-ever-after lives on in her children, our family, and the many lives she touched on her short journey on earth. I hope you enjoy your happy-ever-after moments each day and celebrate the wonderful people that are part of your life. It's a privilege to share the Montana Brides series with you! ![]() "Forever in Love" is now published! Go to http://amzn.com/B00JNK590Y to read Amy and Nathan's story in the second book in the Montana Brides series. It's been a fantastic experience getting this series into eBook format. Special thanks to Diana for her patience and publishing skills, and to Deborah and the staff at Wellington Hospital for their expert medical knowledge. You're amazing! |
